Héron Pourpré

Aquarelle sur papier d'un Héron Pourpré en vol dans les couleurs chaudes de l'automne qui rappellent les couleurs jaune oranger de son plumage. 
Le Héron Pourpré est un migrateur qui arrive en France autour mi-mars. Il niche en colonie dans les vastes roselières. 

Son vol est puissant et régulier, avec de lents battements d'ailes, son cou est rétracté, et ses longues pattes et doigts projetés vers l'arrière.

The Purple Heron is a migrant that arrives in France around mid-March. It nests in colonies in large the vast reed beds. Its flight is powerful and regular, with slow flapping of wings, its neck is retracted, and its long legs and fingers projected backwards.

L'Airone Purpureo è un migratore che arriva in Francia intorno a metà marzo. Nidifica in colonia nei vasti canneti.

Il suo volo è potente e regolare, con lenti battiti d'ali, il suo collo è retratto, e  i suor lunghe eampe e dita proiettate all'indietro.

Tournepierre à collier

Watercolor on paper of necklace turnstone The ruddy turnstone is a bird of the northern hemisphers. It is stocky and short on legs. It is a coastal bird, but it chooses the tundra of the Arctic regions for the nesting period. It is a migratory bird, it can fly as far as tropical Africa. Its name is relative to the fact that it turns stones, algae to find its food, its diet is composed of crustaceans, molluscs and marine worms hidden in the sand.

Aquarelle sur papier de tournepierres à collier. Le tournepierre est un oiseau de l'hémisphère nord. Il est trapu et court sur pattes.  C'est un oiseau côtier, mais il choisit la toundra des régions arctique pour la période de nidification. C'est un oiseau migrateur, il peut voler jusqu'en Afrique tropicale. Son nom est relatif au fait qu'il retourne les pierres et les algues pour trouver sa nourriture, son régime est composé de crustacés, de mollusques et de vers marins cachés dans le sable.

Acquerello su carta di voltapietre a collare. Il voltapietre è un uccello dell'emisfero nord. E tozzo e corto sulle zampe. E un uccello costiero, ma sceglie la tundra delle regioni artiche per il periodo di nidicazione. E un uccello migratore, puo volare fino all'Africa tropicale. Il suo nome è relativo al fatto che gira le pietre e le alghe per trovare il suo cibo, la sua dieta è composta da crostacei, molluschi e vermi marini nascosti nella sabbia.

                                     

Guillemot de Troïl

Watercolor on paper of a murre of troïl. The murre of troïl is a northern pelagic bird. It lives in high seas and settles in rocky areas to reproduce. It is a gegarious bird, they form important groups in search for food, they dive together essentially in schools of fish. It flight is made of small fast flapping wings.

Aquarelle sur papier de guillemot de troïl. Le guillemot de troïl est un oiseau pélagique septentrional. Il vit en haute mer et s'installe dans des zones rocheuses pour se reproduire. C'est un oiseau grégaire, ils forment des groupes importants à la recherche de nourriture, ils plongent ensemble essentiellement dans les bancs de poissons.  Son vol est fait de petits battements d'ailes rapides.

Acquerello su carta di un guillemot di troil. Il guillemot di troil è un uccello settentrionale pelagico. Vive in alto mare e si trasferisce in zone rocciose per riprodursi. E un uccello gregario, formano importanti gruppi alla ricerca di cibo, si immergono insieme essenzialmente nei banchi di pesci. Il suo volo è fatto di piccoli battiti d'ali veloci.

Pélican blanc

 

Watercolor on paper of  white pelicans. The white pelican is different from its cousin the pelican curled by its completely white color, except for its black wings black on the underside. It has a large yellow pocket under its beak with a capacity of 3,43 gallons in which it can store up to 8,82 pounds of fish. Its feets range from pink to red.
It is found near ponds lakes, lagoons in  Asia, Africa and  Europe where it becomes rare.
The pelican is very graceful in flight, it can soar very long. The fishery is collective, the pelicans swim together to group the fish towards the shore where the fish are refouled, the pelicans have only to catch them in the pocket of their beak.

Aquarelle sur papier de pélicans blanc. Le pélican blanc est différent de son cousin le pélican frisé par sa couleur complètement blanche, excepté pour ses ailes noires sur le dessous. Il a une grande poche jaune sous son bec avec une capacité de 13 litres dans laquelle il peut stocker jusqu'à 4 kg de poissons. Ses pieds vont du rose à l'oranger.
On le trouve près des lacs, des étangs, des lagunes en Asie, en Afrique et en Europe où il devient rare.
Le pélican est très gracieux en vol, il peut planer très longtemps. La pêche est collective, les pélicans nagent ensemble pour regrouper les poissons vers la rive où les poissons sont refoulés, les pélicans n'ont plus qu'à les attraper dans la poche de leur bec.

Acquerello su carta di pellicani blanchi. Il pellicano bianco è diverso dal suo cugino il pellicano. Ha una grande tasca gialla sotto il becco con una capacità di 13 litrii cui puo immagazzinare fino a 4 chilogrami  di pesce. I suoi piedi vanno dal rosa all'arancio.
Si trova vicino ai laghi, stagni, lagune in Asia, Africa ed Europa dove diventa raro.
Il pellicano è molto grazioso in volo, puo sballarsi per molto tempo. La pesca è collettiva, i pellicani nuotano insieme per raggruppare i pesci verso la riva dove i pesci sono respinti, i pellicani devono sol prenderli nella tasca del becco.

Fou de Bassan

Watercolor on paper of northern gannet. It is a large white sea bird, the tip of the wings is black and its head is yellow. It is a pelagic bird present in the Atlantic, North Sea and Mediterranean Sea.
Scottish gave him its name for the way it fished. It sometimes dives 98 feet high, for this, it adopts an aerodinamic posture allowing it to enter in the water at a speed of 62 miles, it passes under a school of fish, from which it takes its prey in the passage and resurfaces. Despite a heavy takeoff, the gannet is a good glider, it can cover up to 124 miles. Couples are united for life. The making takes place in the colony which is set on cliffs, it is preceded by the courtship parade.

Aquarelle sur papier de fou de Bassan. C'est un grand oiseau blanc, le bout de ses ailes est noir et sa tête est jaune. C'est un oiseau pélagique présent en Atlantique, mer du nord et mer Méditerranée. 
Des Ecossais lui ont donné son nom pour sa façon de pêcher. Il plonge de parfois 30 mètres de haut, pour cela, il adopte une posture aérodynamique lui permettant de rentrer dans l'eau à une vitesse de 100 km/h, il passe sous le banc de poissons dont il prélève ses proies au passage et refait surface. Malgré un décollage lourd, le fou de Bassan est un bon planeur, il peut parcourir jusqu'à 200 km. Les couples sont unis pour la vie. L'accouplement a lieu dans la colonie qui est installée sur des falaises, il est précédé de la parade nuptiale.

Gli scozzesi gli hanno dato il nome per il suo modo di pescare. Si immerge a volte di 30 metri di altezza, per questo adotta una postura aerodinamica che gli permette di entrare nell'aqua ad una velocità  di 100 chilometri all'ora, passa sotto il banco di pesci da cui preleva le sue prede al passaggio e riemerge. Nonostante un decollo pesante,  la sula bassana è un buono alliante, puo percorrere fino a 200 chilometri. Le coppie sono unite per la vità. L'accoppiamento avviene nella colonia che è installata su scogliere, è preceduto dal corteggiamento.

                                        

Mouette rieuse

In flight, the hand's black and white pattern is characteristic. The black headed gull is a noisy bird. It is an opportunistic bird, it feeds by walking, swimming, and diving to catch fish by following fishing boats. It can be found cleaning the leftovers in the cities and on the beaches. It is a monogamous and  faithful bird. 

Aquarelle sur papier de mouettes rieuses en hiver, seules quelques traces noires autour des yeux du capuchon nuptial du printemps sont visibles. Ses pattes et son bec sont orange vifs. En vol, le patron blanc et noir de la main est caractéristique. La mouette rieuse est un oiseau bruyant. C'est un oiseau opportuniste, il se nourrit en marchant, nageant, et plongeant pour saisir des poissons en suivant des bateaux de pêche. On peut la trouver nettoyant les restes dans les villes et sur les plages. C'est un oiseau monogame et fidèle.

Acquerello su carta di gabbiani in inverno, sono visibile solo alcune tracce nere intorno agli occhi del capuccio nuziale  primaverile. Le zampe e il becco sono arancioni vivi. In volo, il modelo bianco e nero della mano è caratteristico. Il gabbiano è un uccello rumoroso. E un uccello opportunista, si nutre camminando, nuotando e tuffandosi per afferrare i pesci seguendo i pescherecci. Si pùo trovare che pulisce i resti delle città e su le spiaggie. E un uccello monogamo e fedele.

Vautour africain

 

Watercolor on paper of african vulture also called african gyps or white-blacked vulture. The white-blacked vulture has the neck and head covered with white down. Its wingspan varies between 6 and 7 meter for a weigth between 9 to 16 pounds. The african vulture is a necropsy bird, it is found in places where large herds of mammals are present. They are always perched on a tree to rest.

Aquarelle sur papier d'un vautour africain, appelé aussi gyps africain ou vautour à dos blanc. Le vautour à dos blanc a le cou et la tête couvert de duvet blanc. Son envergure varie entre 1,95 et 2,25 mètres pour un poids compris entre 4 et 7 kilos. Le vautour africain est un oiseau nécrophage, on le trouve dans les endroits où de larges troupeaux de mammifères sont présents. Ils sont toujours perchés sur un arbre pour se reposer.

Acquerello su carta di un avvoltoio africano, chiamato anche gyps africano o avvoltoiocon  dorso bianco. L'avvoltoio con dorso bianco ha il collo e la testa coperti di piuma bianca. La sua portata varia tra 1,95 a 2,25 metri per un peso compreso tra 4 e 7 chili. L'avvoltoio africano è un uccello necrofago, si trova in luoghi dove sono presenti grandi greggi di mammiferi. Sono sempre appollaiati su un albero per riposare.

Autruches d'Afrique

L'ostrich is the largest of all birds, with 8,2 feet of high and 287 pound. It is part of  large birds family, while it is flightless, on the other hand it can reach 43 miles / hour in the race.

L'autruche est le plus grand de tous les oiseaux, avec 2,50 m de haut pour 130 kg. Elle fait partie de la grande famille des oiseaux alors qu'elle est inapte au vol, par contre elle peut atteindre 70 km/ heure à la course.

Lagopèdes dans les alpes du sud

Le lagopède réside à une altitude comprise entre 1800 et 3000 mètres. L'oiseau préfère la marche au vol, c'est seulement en cas de grand danger que l'oiseau vol sur une courte distance.

Acquerello su carta di una coppia di pernici  nel'incantevole paesaggio di montano delle Alpi meridionali. La pernice bianca vive ad un'altitudine compresa tra 1800 a 3000 metri. L'uccello preferisce camminare piuttosto che volare, solo in caso di grande pericolo l'uccello vola a breve distanza.

Tetras Lyre

This is during the spring courtship that the male black grouse looks great, sings and unfolds all its charms to attract a pretty female, while he stays in the valley of the Claree, in the national park of the Ecrins, in the French alps,

Aquarelle sur papier d'un Tetras Lyre, également appelé coq des bouleaux ou petit coq de bruyère. C'est une espèce d'oiseau sédentaire, symbole des Alpes euopéennes.
C'est pendant un parade nuptiale printanière que le Tetras Lyre mâle a fière allure, chante et déploit tout ses charmes pour attirer une jolie femelle, alors qu'il séjourne dans la vallée de la Clarée, dans le parc national des Ecrins, dans les Alpes Françaises.

Acquerello su carta di Tetras Lyre, chiamata anche gallo di betulla o gallo cedrone. E una specie di ucello sedentario, simbolo delle alpi europee.
E durante il corteggiamento primaverile che l'ucello maschio sta benissimo, canta  e dispiega tutto il suo fascino per attirare una bella femina, mentre soggiorna nella valle della Claree, nel parco nazionale degli Ecrins, nelle Alpi Francesi.
