Ski joering

Endurance

The endurance racing has its roots in the past, when people used horses to communicate with each other, the most famous example is the " pony express" in the United States in the middle of the 19th century. The European countries and Asia long before, in the 5th century already used the same means of communication. The wars have contibuted to the practice of this sport. The first endurance competion  appeared in Europe, Australia and the United States in the 19th century.

La course d'endurance prend ses racines dans le passé, alors que les peuples utilisaient les chevaux pour communiquer entre eux., l'exemple le plus connu est le "pony express" aux Etats-Unis au milieu du 19ème sièce. Les pays Européens et l'Asie bien avant, au 5ème siècle utilisait déjà le même moyen de communication. Les guerres ont contribués de la pratique de ce sport. La première compétition d'endurance apparait en Europe, en Austalie et aux Etats-Unis au 19ème Siècle.

Horse ball

Watercolor on paper of riders practicing horse ball. Horse ball is a collective sport adapted from Argentinian Pato and from the Asian Bouzhachi. Two teams of four or six players are opposed and must score in the opposite camp.

Aquarelle sur papier de cavaliers pratiquant le horse-ball. Le horse-ball est un sport collectif adapté du Pato Argentin et du Bouzhachi Asiatique. Deux équipes de quatre ou six joueurs sont opposées et doivent mettre des buts dans le camp opposé.

Horse Acrobatics

Watercolor on paper of a rider performing aerobatics. Aerobatics can be both artistisc and acrobatic discipline.Circle aerobatics and  straight line aerobatics are two types of aceobatics praticed, each of wich requires a different horse and  equipment.

Aquarelle sur papier d'un cavalier effectuant de la voltige. La voltige peut être à la fois artistique et acrobatique. La voltige en cercle et la voltige en ligne droite sont les deux types de voltige pratiquées, chacune d'elles requière un cheval et un équipement différent.

Polo

Aquarelle sur papier d'un cavalier jouant au polo. Les premiers joueurs de polo sont apparus dans la Perse ancienne, bien avant d'être joué en Inde au 13ème siècle. Le polo est un sport d'équipe qui requiert de l'endurance.

Acquerello su carta di un cavaliere che giocca a polo. I primi giocatori di polo apparvero nell' antica Persia, molte prima che fosse giocato in India nel 13 secolo. Il polo è un sport di squadra che richiesta resistenza.

Western riding

L'equitazione western è stata svilupata nel 19 secolo da cowboys che trasportavano bestiame, durante tempo libero avevano svilupato giochi di dressage con i loro cavalli. Oggi, solo il reining è una diciplina che fa parte di Giochi Olympici. Consiste nel fermo scorrevole, inversione di marcia, piroette...

Jumping

Watercolor on paper of a horse jumping, it's in 19th century while practising hunting with hounds in the countryside, that the first jumping  competition was held in Ireland; in 1865, in France it was not until 1870,  it became an olympic competition in 1900, in Paris.
The test consists of jumbing off bars of  different heights, rivers, ground obstacles as quicky as possible.

Aquarelle sur papier d'un saut à cheval, c'est au 19 ème siècle alors que l'on pratiquait la chasse à courre dans les campagnes, que la première compétition de saut à cheval s'est tenu en Irlande en 1865, en France il a fallu attendre 1870, l'épreuve est devenu une compétition olympique au jeux olympiques de Paris en 1900.
L'épreuve consiste à sauter des barres de différentes hauteurs, des rivières, des obstacles au sol, le plus rapidement possible.

Acquerello su carta di salto a cavallo, fu nel 19 secolo mentre si praticava la caccia con i segugi in campagna, che la pima gara di salto a cavallo si tenne in Irlanda nel 1865, in Francia fu solo nel 1870, l'evento divenne una competizone olimpica alle Olimpiadi di Parigi nel 1900.
Il test consiste a saltare barre di diverse altezze, fiumi, ostacolli sul terreno, il più rapidamente possibile.

Trotter race

Rodeo

Originally, the rodeo consisted in the action of bringing toghether cattle to mark, care for or sell them. This seasonal event offered the opportunity to organize informal competitions.
Nowadays, it is both a spectacle and a sport with many challenges drawn from working with animals. The saddle bronc riding is part of them, it  consits of riding a saddled wild horse.

A l'origine, le rodéo consistait dans l'action de réunir le bétail pour le marquer, le soigner ou le vendre. Cet évènement saisonnier offrait l'opportunité d'organiser une compétition informelle.
De nos jours, c'est à la fois un spectacle et un sport comportant de nombreuses épreuves tirés du travail avec les animaux. La "saddle bronc riding" en fait partie, ça consiste à monter un cheval sauvage sellé.

In origine, il rodeo consisteva nel riunire il bestiame per contrassegnarlo, curarlo  o venderlo. Questo evento stagionale ha offerto l'opportunità di organizzare una competizione informale.
Oggi, è sia uno spettacolo che uno sport con molte sfide trate dal lavorare con gli animali. La "saddle bronc riding" ne fa parte, consiste nel cavalcare un cavallo selvaggio sellato.

Carriage driving competition

In the discipline of carriage driving, the driver sits on a vehicle drawn by a a team of horses, in the watercolor I painted, the team is composed of three horses. The sport has three phases: dressage, cross-country marathon and  handling test.

Dans la discipline de la conduite en calèche, le conducteur est assis sur un véhicule tiré par plusieurs chevaux, dans l'aquarelle que j'ai réalisé, l'équipe est composée de trois chevaux. Le sport comporte trois phases: le dressage, le cross-country et l'épreuve de maniabilité.

Nella diciplina della guida in carrozza, l'autista è seduto su un veicolo trainato da più cavalli, nell'acquerello che ho realizzato, la squadra è composta da tre cavalli. Lo sport a tre fasi: dressage, icross-country e manovrabilità.

Gallop.

The French horseracing sector is among the most active and dynamic worldwide.
Although offering racing almost every day of the year, the primary Gallop racing season in France is recognized as commencing from March to the end of November.

En France le secteur de la course à cheval est parmi les plus dynamique et actif dans le monde.
Bien que proposant des courses presque chaque jour de l'année, les premiers galops de la saison en France est reconnu pour commencé en mars et se terminé en novembre.

In Francia il settore dell'ippica è tra più dinamici e attivi al mondo.
Sebbene offra garequiasi tutti i giorni dell'ano, è noto che i primi cgalopi della staggione iniziano a marzo e finiscono a novembre.

Gardians in Camargue.

Watercolor on paper of "gardian" driving a young bull in Camargue, "gardian" are equals to American Cow-boys who drive cattles in the Far-west.
Carmargue  is located in the south of France, at the mouth of the rhone river, in the area call the "Bouches-du-Rhone", the rhone river creates large ponds before flowing into the mediterranean sea. In this humid and wealthy landscape bulls and horses are breeding in half-freedom, in addition to animals' breeding the area is well know for its delightful rice of Camargue.

Aquarelle sur papier de gardians conduisant un jeune taureau en Camargue, les gardians sont l'équivalent des Cow-boys Américain qui conduisent des troupeaux dans le Far-west.

La Camargue est situé dans le sud de la France, à l'embouchure du fleuve Rhône, dans la région appelé les Bouches-du-Rhône, le fleuve Rhône crée de larges étangs avant de se jeter dans la mer méditerranée. Dans ce paysage humide et riche des taureaux et des chevaux sont élevés en semi-liberté, en plus de l'élevage la région est très connu pour son délicieux riz de Camargue.

La Camagues si trova nel sud della Francia, alla foce del fiume Rhone, nella regione chiamata "les bouches-du-Rhone", il fiume Rhone crea gandi stagni prima di sfociare nel mar mediterraneo. In questo paesaggio umido e ricco tori e cavalli vengono allevati in semi-libertà, oltre alla zootecnia la regione è ben nota per il suo delizioso riso della Camargue.
