Le chat Bengal est né du croisement génétique d'un chat domestique avec un chat léopard asiatique, c'est dans les années 60 que Jean Mill, généticienne américaine a entrepris des recherches sur le croisement des chats dans un but médical.
En raison de son patrimoine génétique sauvage, c'est un animal sportif, vif et agile, il a besoin de rester actif. Le chat Bengal est également connu pour sa grande intelligence. C'est un chat confiant, attentif, curieux et amical, il est particulièrement affectueux avec son propriétaire.
Le chien Saint-Bernard doit son nom au col du Grand-Saint-Bernard, en Suisse, au sommet duquel se trouvait un hospice. Les moines y élevaient ces chiens dissuasifs et robustes pour la garde et la défense, mais aussi pour le sauvetage des voyageurs égarés dans la neige. Le Saint-Bernard est un chien doux, pacifique, et parfois têtu. L'instinct de sauvetage est très développé chez lui, tout comme celui du territoire. Très peu agressif, il est particulièrement gentil avec les enfants, mais sait se faire respecter si un inconnu s'approche de la maison.

The Saint-Bernard dog owes its name to the pass of Grand-Saint-Bernard, in Switzerland, at the top of wich was an hospice. The monks raised these deterrent and robust dogs for guard and defense, but also for the rescue of travellers lost in the snow. The Saint-Bernard is a gentle, peaceful and sometimes stubborn dog. The instinct for rescue is very developed in him, just like that of the territory. Not very agressive, it is particularly kind to children, but knows how to be respected if a stranger approaches the house.
