L'île d'Or sur la commune de saint Raphaël fait face à la plage du débarquement du cap Dramont. L'île tout comme le massif de l'Esterel est constitué de rochers volcaniques rouges. La tour sarrasine fut érigée au début du 20ème siècle par un propriétaire privé. Elle y accueillit de nombreuses fêtes.
Le cap Dramont est classé site remarquable pour la richesse de sa faune. Le Dramont était exploité depuis l'Antiquité pour l'esterellite, une roche cristalline bleue, de nos jours les carrières ne sont plus exploitées, devenus des lacs, on y pratique des sports nautiques.
Une régate de match racing est un duel entre deux voiliers identiques. C'est une course d'une durée de 20 minutes environ, elle fait appel à la stratégie, de la tactique, le seul objectif est de passer la ligne d'arrivée en premier.
